What we do not collect.

This site collects nothing about you. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags, and no cookies set by us. There is no form on it, so there is nothing for you to fill in and nothing for us to store. Fonts are served from this site rather than a font network, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you did.

The one exception, and it is not ours

This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's servers record technical request data in order to serve the page and keep the service running: your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser and operating system. We do not use that data, do not analyse it, and do not combine it with anything else. It is held by Vercel under their own privacy terms as our hosting provider.

When you contact us

If you email connect@inplacecreates.com or call +254 732 460 700, we hold what you send us: your name, your contact details, and whatever you choose to tell us about your project. We use it to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to run the engagement and issue invoices. That is the whole purpose.

Our email runs on Google Workspace, so messages you send us sit on Google's servers as our email provider. Enquiries that do not become projects are kept while there is a live conversation and deleted when there plainly is not one. Records tied to paid work are kept for as long as Kenyan tax and company law requires, and no longer.

We do not sell your details, we do not share them with anyone for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you emailed us.

Your rights

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Email connect@inplacecreates.com and we will respond within the statutory period. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya.

Links out

We link to client sites, our own profiles on Instagram, LinkedIn and GitHub, and occasionally to other people's work. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site under someone else's privacy terms, and this page stops applying.

Changes

If what this site does changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We do not make quiet edits.
